It’s ok,
I was excited about exclusively using these for my baby girl but I had two problems with the product. From birth it was hard to get her little arms in and out if the holes. It doesn’t allow for the same flexibility as a shirt.
Also when I wanted to pick her up the metal part of the zipper would touch her face. It would have been better for this part to be a different material.
Because of these features it was uncomfortable for us both. I now have 3 due to registry and my own excitement to purchase. All have seen little use.
Update*
I like the medium size of the Cotton version and not the fleece. I would suggest to get a medium or large because the small size is useless and can be outgrown rather quickly.

|Good quality & cute design, but pretty lightweight (not for overnight),
Good quality sleepsack, and cute owl design w/ applique. As compared to the Aden + Anais single-layer sleepsack, the zipper is higher quality (have had no problems with it getting misaligned). However, the Halo sack is more lightweight than I expected. It’s only warm enough for daytime naps (even during summer) in the SF Bay Area (typical room temp of 70-72 F); it’s way too cool for overnight. For overnight, I recommend the Merino Kids sleep sack, the A+A 4-layer muslin “cozy” sleep sack, or the Castleware cotton velour sleep sack. The Halo sack also isn’t quite as snug as I’d like it to be, relative to the rest of the bag .. my baby is at the age where he likes to put everything in his mouth, and often he pulls the top of the sleep sack into his mouth to eat it. Ideally it would be more snug so it wouldn’t be a safety hazard (not to mention distract my baby from sleeping!). Last negative thing – I don’t think the value for this bag is excellent, given the price and the fact that it’s just pretty thin cotton material. Overall though, I’m pleased with this sack and would buy it again for daytime use.

|Comfy and Easy to Use,
I have twins (boy and a girl) and I just adore these sleepsacks. I actually bought a few of the blue with elephant, pink polka-dot, and the green with owl. Although I like them all, the owl version is the cutest (in my opinion). All of the sleepsacks are really easy to use, plus the babies get sleepy when I start to put them in it. The sleepsacks are just all around super comfortable.
I do happen to have two warnings. The first is about the sizes. Small is supposed to be from 0-6 months and medium from 6-12 months. Well, they seem to run a little small. My twins are now just about 5 months and they’ve pretty much outgrown the small size. (And the twins are in the 10th percentile if that helps any.)
The second warning is about washing them. I made the mistake of washing the pink polka-dot ones with the zipper closed the first time and that kind of messed up the zipper. Just unzip and then wash…the natural thing to do in most cases.
Anyway, overall, I totally love this product and am super glad I tried it
Did I mention that both my twins have slept 12 hours straight since 4 1/2 months? Thank you, sleepsacks!
