I love how soft these sheets are, but they are a huge pain to put on! I don’t know if we have an extra large mattress or what (I don’t think so, because we have a normal sized crib!) but they take some muscle to fit around the corners. I can’t even really do it, and I have to have my husband do it. They also seem to be ripping because we stretch them so much. I feel bad about it because they really are such nice sheets.
Here’s some info: our mattress is standard crib size (I’m assuming) and about 7 inches deep. So if your mattress is not as deep as that, they will probably fit perfectly.

|Very soft but a really snug fit – especially after washing,
When we received these sheets we were very happy with how soft they were and the color was perfect. I tried it on our crib mattress for size and it fit great. I then washed the sheets in cold water and dried them – wow are they SUPER snug now! I had to do some serious pulling to get the sheet on the mattress. I will be trying out other sheet options. I’m afraid to see what will happen after these sheets are washed more than once.

We’ve been having issues with bed-wetting again with our 2-yr-old and since I’ve been changing sheets every morning and afternoon after nap time I thought I should finally write a review! We have had these jersey sheets for a few months now and have two of them—and I only rotate between them. My other 3-4 “regular” cotton sheets just sit forgotten in a drawer and will definitely be on the next garage sale, so that I can order more of these! If I remember right, when I was researching sheets myself I believe someone commented on how they shrink up and then are snug on the mattress. They definitely end up a little smaller than when we started, BUT–I guess my response would be that I do want “snug” sheets in my babies’ cribs, and again–wrestling one of these jersey sheets onto a mattress is a WORLD apart from wrestling with a regular cotton sheet. I know that right now I am muttering outloud at least twice a day that I’m so GLAD I bought these. My 2-yr-old insists on these because she likes how much softer they are than her other sheets, and the sage green is a really nice color if you want to stay gender neutral–it’s such a light green (though a little more “green” than the pic shows) that it doesn’t stand out and scream “Green”, IMO, but it’s definitely not a pastel shade, either. Don’t hesitate to buy these, I recommend them to every new parent I know!
